Besides being a corrupt and power-hungry governing body, the Galactic Empire of the Star Wars series is a perfect example of how NOT to effectively lead people. By making these 5 major leadership mistakes (amongst many others), Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine lost control of their followers, succumbed to failure, and the Emperor also met a pretty grisly demise.
We’re not saying that your office will explode, or your apprentice will throw you down a reactor shaft for making these leadership mistakes yourself, but I would rather be safe than sorry…
