Leaders in History: Winston Churchill

Not only did Winston Churchill help to orchestrate a successful Allied strategy against the Axis powers during WWII, he established competent leadership teams within parliament and rallied a struggling country at war.

After WWII, Churchill warned the West of the rapid expansion of Soviet Communism and went on to introduce multiple reforms in the UK, such as improving working conditions for miners and establishing housing standards.
