Congratulations to Rick Rolando’s team at 3M FMSCO for completing one of our newest programs: Behavioral Leadership Training. Larry Little and Melissa Hambrick Jackson recently returned from leading the 2 day training program in St. Paul, MN.

The Eagle Behavioral Leadership Training Program has been designed with principles, values, and concepts that have been proven to provide employees with the foundation to achieve excellence as a leader both professionally and personally. Eagle has developed Behavioral Leadership Training as a customized program uniting the EAGLE Leadership Series with the principles taught in Bringing Out the Best in People by Aubrey Daniels.

This program provides insight into and tools for developing results-oriented leadership through behavioral reinforcement principles.

Based on Daniels’ insights into using behavioral stimuli and reinforcement methods to maximize performance in employees, Eagle has developed a customizable series of expert-taught sessions for groups of employees to participate in over a set period of time.

These sessions outline topics of self-awareness and other-awareness, earning the right to lead others, creating clarity and establishing consistency when leading a team, and embracing facts rather than opinions to ensure positive outcomes. Each of these topics can be customized and altered to fit the needs of your organization. After completing all sessions, participants take part in several small-group coaching sessions to create and implement their own personalized strategic Behavioral Leadership Plan.

Through the BLT program, employees learned how to identify the results they wanted to see and the behaviors that would achieve these results, as well as how to reinforce these behaviors, measure progress, and give feedback to their team, all through the lens of each team member’s unique personality and communication style.

We are excited to see how the leaders on Rick’s team implement these new skills to influence the people around them!
