Malala Yousafzai is a courageous young leader, Nobel Peace Prize winner, and she is still a teenager.

After speaking up for women’s education rights and speaking out against oppressive Taliban rule, in 2012 the religious extremist group attempted to kill her. But her wounds only strengthened her resolve, and she became even more empowered to advocate for the women that do not have voices of their own.
