Celebrating the Greatest Leader

It is the holiday season with several holidays being celebrated at once. I will be celebrating Christmas. As a follower of Jesus, I will pause to reflect on his birth, as that is where my faith begins.
With respect for those of other faiths or those who recognize no faith, I would like to share with you why I follow the greatest leader who was ever born:
Jesus is not a religion or particular church. He is not a denomination, organization, or sect. He is not a theological symbol or a complicated spiritual process. Jesus was born for one purpose: to develop a relationship with us. His purpose was, and still is, to offer a way to God through an authentic relationship.
Jesus asks me, and all of us, to do 3 things: Love God, Love Others and Follow Him. Followers of Jesus come in all shapes and sizes. They are from diverse socio-economical, geographical, and cultural backgrounds. They make up a variety of political and social mindsets. Some follow from a distance, while others are experiencing a closer walk with Jesus.
While religious style, preference, and even conviction can be debated; one thing cannot be contested. A mountain of evidence and factual accounts supports it.
Jesus, who was born in a small cave outside of a crowded inn, grew up to be the greatest leader who ever lived. His movement is unparalleled, and his followers continue to expand around the world.
So this season I will celebrate His birth and how I experience His grace, wisdom, and love in my life. As a follower of Jesus, I will continue to learn about His leadership and more importantly about how He invested in the lives of others.
It is my hope and prayer that the Greatest Leader who ever lived will make a difference in your life.
Merry Christmas,

Dr. Larry Little, CEO
